If u are in need of any worldly If u ar in need of any worldly thing- food, clothing or other necessity- u do not beg of d store keeper to give it to u; u ask d price of it, pay for it wit ur money, and den it bcoms ur own. U recognise d perfect justice in giving an equivalent for wht u receive, and would nt wish it to b otherwise. D same just law prevails in spiritual things. If u ar in need of a spiritual thing- joy, assurance, peace, or what else so ever- u can only come into full possession of it by giving an equivalent; u must pay d price for it. As u must give a portion of ur mental material substance for a worldly thing its same way u must giv a protion of ur immaterial substance for a spiritual thing. U must yield up som passion, or lust or vanity or indulgence b4 d spiritual possession can be urs.
